2011-03-12 04:55:00 | They sell Kirbys in NZ? They USED to be here in the US too. Good riddance to them if they are a pox on youse guys now - as they are the most overpriced piece of crappola I've ever seem. It's one tool that does a thousand things ---------- and none of them well, no, make that none at all.

2011-03-12 07:19:00 | Can you get Flowby's (spelling?) in America still Joe? A gadget that attaches to a vacuum cleaner hose and you can cut hair with it, they were advertised here then suddenly they were gone | zqwerty (97) | |
2011-03-12 07:26:00 | Yeah - that's under another name here now though- something like Popiel's or RONCO (Popiel's son-in-law) - er, hair cutting thing-y. Maybe called 'Robo Cut' now too. The old Flowbees commercial is here though: www.google.com Oiukxymw&rct=j&q=flowbee%20commercial&ei=1h97TbqcFpO2sAOfyI2WAw&usg=AFQjCNF2HRlU18GpdVu1zSn-E2dGAM6oqA&sig2=rUBaqmRQ8DiPCYqJDW2fQA&cad=rja Hmmm. Product liability act made them pull them off the shelves? I dunnow. Too many toupees went south maybe? Suck out too many eyeballs?

2011-03-12 10:14:00 | I have two different cleaners. Electrolux and Hoover. Both clean well. I've had the Electrolux for a few years. Last year I went out to buy a replacement for the ancient (and broken) one I use downstairs. I had every intention of buying a Miele, but changed my mind when I found the price of the replacement bags. Since then I have found that there is a replacement generic bag. I fully agree about not buying a Kirby. I had one years ago, I'm not sure why we actually bought it, just gullible, I guess. It did clean but it was like a heavy piece of machinery.

2011-03-12 12:32:00 | Don't get a Dyson. They fall apart. Miele if you can afford it, or Henry vacuum cleaners are very good in my opinion, plus we have a smiley face looking at you.

2011-03-12 12:59:00 | We've got a Nilfisk too, looks like a Dalek which is cool. Don't know how old ours is but they still make them, called "GM 80" so they must be doing something right.
