1216228 2011-07-18 08:23:00 It seems like the computer gets taken over by updates. Go to use FF and it wants to update, same with Flash, Skype, IE9 and Windows. This really hacks me off when I only have a small job to do. I usually have all automatic updates turned off so they can be done at my convenience, not the computer's. mzee (3324)

1216230 2011-07-18 10:18:00 Version 4 of FF will never get updated. So, you'll be stuck with it. If you dont update it to FF 5 or a later version

Why are they doing that? Also instead of properly releasing v5 they just go onto the next version....

1216231 2011-07-18 10:50:00 I imagine they're updating so frequently due to their having massive market share now, and they keep having to patch bugs and holes that weren't discovered as quickly when their share was smaller, or something to that effect. 8ftmetalhaed (14526)

It is actually to do with the fact that they are now using the Chrome way of versioning.
