1215957 2011-07-11 06:15:00 Sounds like the Apple is infected. What browser is used for webmail ??
Try webmail on another machine & see what happens.

It could, cough cough, possibly be the webmail host spitting out some bogus pop-ups, unlikely though.
Whos the webmail host ?? if its an ISP then try their helpdesk.

Why don't you read the previous posts.
It is a compromised Yahoo account.

Some here just can't help but try and put Apple down. It seems to be a narcissistic tendency of some.

1215959 2011-07-11 10:51:00 Sorry lads, seems she has just changed from telecom and yahoo to Kinect and Kinect web mail,so I presume the best thing for her to do is contact Kin. and get them to sort? Cicero (40)
1215960 2011-07-11 11:38:00 If its only happening Via web mail, and not POP, and its the same account, then there should be a problem within the web mail someplace.

If it were the Laptop, then one expect it would happen on both types of mail no matter which was used.

One easy way to tell, log in the web mail account Via another computer, see if the same thing happens, this can be any computer running any OS, MAC, Windows or Linux .

Pull your head in mate, there was nothing to prove its a compromised a/c.
Another apple user with a chip on their shoulder ??
I suggested trying webmail on another PC to see if it was the Apple or an issue with the webmail provider. So perhaps we should all read the previous posts rather than get our panties all twisted
Im not bashing apple BTW, fanboy. :punk :punk :clap

I used my computer to get Kinect, it had the million dollar thing .

Looked in settings, found it in signatures, deleted it, but it returned at once after receiving an email .

1215963 2011-07-12 06:48:00 it looks like the account is infected - having two separate computers both using accessing the one web mail, a both getting the same results from the same source, means its the web mail side of thing causing the problems .

The computers (MAC and yours) would appear to be fine .

Think its time to get on the phone, smoke signals or something :) and contact them - at least they should be able to clean out the account Kinect Site (http://kinect . co . nz/)

It beats me as to how they let that happen in the first place.

Been like that for ages, she thought, what a nuisance and did nothing.
