1216278 2011-07-12 00:09:00 Anyone else ordered a MSI 560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II/OC and got a standard 560 GTX ? stone2 (9037)
1216279 2011-07-12 00:12:00 From where? wratterus (105)
1216280 2011-07-12 00:21:00 From ITEXPRESS. They are are saying that the just received shipment to all retailers will probably be the wrong version card.
Just checking to see if anyone else has ordered one and received the vanilla version.

1216281 2011-07-12 00:41:00 Never heard of them. They have a 3 star rating here (www.gpforums.co.nz)which is just 'ok'. It's their problem to resolve - I would contact them, then send it back and wait for the proper one to arrive, or failing that save a few extra $$ and get the Asus (www.computerlounge.co.nz) one which is a better card anyway. :) wratterus (105)
1216282 2011-07-12 01:17:00 Well the ASUS is the more expensive one. Any why do you say it's better? stone2 (9037)
1216283 2011-07-12 01:20:00 It's got a bigger overclock, so will be fractionally faster. And it's an Asus... :p Not that there's anything wrong with the MSI card though.

Do you know what warranty the MSI has on it?

Presumably their warranty will at least cover getting you the product you ordered, but I wouldn't hold my breath for it to be done quickly.

More seriously, though, MSI usually give either 24 or 36months on their GPUs.

1216285 2011-07-12 02:05:00 I'll probably order my asus 560ti next week, I was looking at the twin frozr but I'm far from being set up for water cooling.
I am surprised to hear that the frozr card is cheaper than the asus though. how is it that msi has a watercooled o.c card yet is cheaper AND less o.c'd than the air cooled asus? maybe cheap waterblocks for gpus are cheaper than a good gpu fan config...

You get what you pay for. What made you think the Twin Frozr II is watercooled?
