The drive spins and seeks while as if its processing but after few min i get the error message "i get is The system cannot find the specified file". i have tried recovering the password with the recovery keys. no luck. have tried it with a usb to sata adapter but same issue. |

| 1217376 | 2011-07-18 03:33:00 | Its for vista x64 (6.0) not win7 x64 (which is 6.1). You could try the bottom post here forum.novatech.co.uk It may or may not work with hdd's. If its on a hdd. Did you upgrade from a previous version of windows? Or do a clean install? And social.technet.microsoft.com |

| 1217378 | 2011-07-18 04:44:00 | Thats what it says (not me) its for vista not win7. Use the repair-bde command instead from the command prompt. Dont ask me how to use it, I dont use / bother with bitlocker | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||
