Aren't these apps also available for windows? 20 years ago they out performed PC's and became the industry standard for graphic design, 15 years ago PC hardware caught up,spanked em silly and raced off into the future. In response to losing their performance advantage Apple just pretended they still had it and increased the wank factor tenfold and charged three arms and a leg. To the point they fell so far behind in performance they ditched their entire platform,put a new face on linux, installed it on some PC hardware, and sold it to their devotees. |
