Would be interesting to see how that generational thing works given I went to concerts by the Arctic Monkey's and The Cribs, and my son goes to Alice Cooper, Metallica and Iron Maiden. At that time only a few people in NZ had heard of Metallica, Their second album had just been released, sales were only counted in the thousands worldwide, and as stunning as Ride the Lightning turned out to be the band were nothing like the weak pop music-radio friendly douche-bags they would eventually turn into. |
