1187737 2011-03-21 07:46:00 Snorkster must be posting from beyond the grave.

Not relevant to this thread I'm afraid.

I'm hardly classified as a no-poster as the thread says zero posts. This is patently untrue.

Also it tends to indicate you believe in life after death which is hardly a conclusion a real scientist would come to.

1187738 2011-03-21 10:09:00 The people who haven't logged for 7 years on the other hand... :devil

Dunno how they'd manage that - the current iteration of the forum went live in Dec 2004 (if you look at a lot of members, that's their join date) and user-accounts couldn't be carried over. The only exception was Biggles ('forums.pcworld.co.nz) (a.k.a Bruce), for reasons unknown...

1187739 2011-03-21 19:13:00 So if you create a user name with ***** does it show as stars?? Gobe1 (6290)
1187740 2011-03-21 22:35:00 I don't know, give it a try....

But if you type your password, it should show up as stars. For example here's mine: ********

1187741 2011-03-21 23:28:00 I did a little statistical work and discovered that there are 2,285 people in the members list with a post count of zero.

What should we do?

I don't understand the need to do anything.

Are the no posters causing a problem? It seems that they are not. Surely if they were some sort of bother they would have been terminated by now.

We have not heard anything from the Mods on this subject. Perhaps it would be interesting to hear their point of view.

Do no posters cause any worries? Will there be an advantage if they are removed? Does anybody care? Come on Mods, let's hear what you think.
