1188894 2011-03-25 22:48:00 A slightly irritating characteristic is occuring with FF4 that didn't happen with 3. It tends to leave traces of text on the taskbar at the bottom of the page, or on the desktop.

If for instance FF4 is full screen and I open Bookmarks which reaches down the page and overlaps the task bar, then bits get left behind.

If FF4 is not full screen then a chunk of Bookmarks gets left behind on the desktop after Bookmarks is closed. A refresh is needed to clear the detrius away.

Maybe this is something to do with my setup, I'll have to investigate further.
I have had that with several versions and usually a scroll will clear that.
Just reread your post and I was thinking the opposite of a pop up from the task bar etc. leaving traces.

1188898 2011-03-26 01:20:00 I like FF4 but having the Home button at the far right irritates. Any ideas of how to move it? Winston001 (3612)

1188901 2011-03-27 04:43:00 Didn't see if this was noted or not:

Does anyone see that the major color/colour on the webpage that one opens is keyed to the color/colour of the tabs now?

Did I say that backwards?

Nevermind - since youse guys can read upside down, backwards should be much easier.

Veddy Interesting!

Really? :stare:

Doesn't seem to make a difference whether I visit here or www.hell.co.nz...

1188903 2011-03-27 05:58:00 Seriously! When I open a page that is mostly - say BROWN, then the tab changes to a brown color too.

Same with red or green - but F1 is showing gray.
