| 1218629 | 2011-07-23 11:27:00 | Something wrong with my Windows 7 Some of the icons for programs are missing in the taskbar and also the start menu I tried this www.sevenforums.com but that didn't work. Has anyone experienced this problem and manage to solve it without a complete format? Thanks |

| 1218630 | 2011-07-23 12:07:00 | The same thing has happened to me, a few times (the missing icons in the taskbar). I usually delete the menu entries. I just unpin the icon from the taskbar, and go to its folder and pin it to the taskbar again. It seems to fix it (most of the time) Is SP1 installed? |

| 1218633 | 2011-07-23 23:06:00 | Seen this problem once ,ran chkdsk, sfc /scannow, nothing worked. What did finally appear to have an effect was the graphic drivers, I completely un-installed them and loaded in the latest, after that every thing appeared to be working normally - well the person hasn't called back saying it broken again. Try removing, reinstall the graphic drivers,may or may not help. |
