1218730 2011-07-24 04:50:00 I'm a very quick learner. and I already know some stuff already.
Just a little tune up of come vocabulary and some advanced teaching, it would be nice to learn and go that extra mile when it comes to computers.

Anyone care to teach?

1218737 2011-07-24 21:15:00 Sounds a bit like my wife, she was always fascinated while we were dating about the use of the command prompt. A few basic things to learn would be what a ping is, why you would want to do it, what the results mean, and how it can help you with diagnosing certain issues.
Basic batch file scripting is always useful knowledge to have.

The #1 skill you can have is self-motivation and a willingness to search online and find your own solutions.

Have you thought about beginning something such as the Bachelor in Computing Systems at Unitec? They teach this kind of thing in the first semester :)
