2011-03-30 06:01:00 | Do we agree with this?............. There is only ONE moment happening ever. A past moment does not actually exist anywhere in reality; the only place the past moment can possibly exist is in the memory. Likewise, it is impossible for a future moment to exist anywhere other than the brain that ponders it. Therefore the now moment is the only moment that actually exists, all else is illusiory.

2011-03-30 06:09:00 | Mostly I agree. However, if a past moment is recorded, it can be replayed. So if I'm watching a recorded moment at the moment it exists for me at the moment. :)

2011-03-30 06:52:00 | Do we agree with this?............. No. That is equivalent to saying that only one place exists. If you can only ever experience "here", then "there" is, by that logic, nonexistent. All places & times exist simultaneously, but your "moment" is entirely subjective and depends on the particular space-time co-ordinates occupied by the observer. :waughh:

2011-03-30 07:08:00 | If you want something to ponder how about this.... Everything happens to you. In a way the world revolves around you. Snippet: 9. “I” Become aware of the fact that your world always includes you. As William James noted, it is I see, I hear, I feel, I think that is the basic fact of experience.5 You are not what you see, hear, think, or feel; you have these experiences. Perhaps most essentially, you are who is aware. You are always at the center of your multidimensional universe of experience, but you are not always consciously aware of yourself. Briefly repeat the exercise with the following difference: At the same time you attend to each of the various aspects of your experience, be aware that it is you who is noticing these things (“I see the light...”). (link (www.bibliotecapleyades.net)) Basically if you don't see/hear/feel etc then essentially it doesn't happen, well that's the way I see it anyway which might not actually be interpreted right, but might be worth trying the exercise in the link. Interesting way to view life too, that it's your world and everyone else is just put into it.

2011-03-30 08:03:00 | Time When I was young, I dreamed, Often a dream about flying, Flying along about head height above the ground, Moving smoothly and effortlessly, gliding As in a dream. Astral travelling. A cruise missile, ground hugging. As I got older I stopped dreaming that dream I almost forgot that I had ever dreamt it But when I broke my leg in the middle of my life, I remembered it again. I started to ride a bicycle to strengthen my withered, wasted leg And the dream became reality. Today even, riding along on a sunny afternoon With a warm nor-westerly breeze at my heels Effortlessly, moving quite fast Always at the same height I relive my childhood. These days, however, I think of deeper things Time does not exist in and of itself. 16/9/3
