1189757 2011-03-27 07:01:00 When I go to Goto menu>select options>application list, the phone freezes and I have to reboot it. This happened after I updated the firmware to v6.94. bot (15449)
1189758 2011-03-27 07:38:00 The Xpressmusic? Looks like the latest is 07.91.

Did you update with USB / connect it to a computer?

1189759 2011-03-27 18:23:00 As Speedy suggested, try updating the firmware to the latest version. I updated mine (the same exact phone model as yours) last night to 7.91 and everything seems to be working fine so far. Renmoo (66)

I lost the USB cable :( so can only connect by Bluetooth. I live in coro so I roam on vodafone as there are no 2degrees cell towers. The only time i updated it was when i went to auckland on xmas day.

Mmm. I don't know if i should buy a new cable on tm as the cheapo ones arent much good (bought a replacement ipod cable, failed in two weeks).

Can't i just download the firmware to the phone then install it?

1189763 2011-03-28 02:44:00 You can but you'll still need the cable to get it on the phone. I used Nokia updater for mine (not your phone tho). And updated it that way Speedy Gonzales (78)

1189765 2011-03-28 02:50:00 Using Nokia updater is a lot easier . I tried to update without the cable too . But, there were no updates . I connected thru Nokia updater, did it again the update was there . That was it it updated rebooted . All done .

If you come to Auckland if its a mini connection (not the USB end) cable get it from Surplustronics top of Queen St, heading up to K Road, theyre $9-$10 . Dont go to Vodafone theyre nearly $50!
