It's not a Xoom - we don't even know if the Xoom's coming out here yet!

Even more reason to import and review one on TV, might force the telecos to act!

1190353 2011-03-30 05:53:00 I have recorded the program both from my TV card in mpg (ts) format and through my top box in mpg (ps) format. They are both just over an hour long. I can view the two lovely young ladies talking about tech gadgets in the middle of each recording.

I have tried importing the recordings into my movie editors Serif MoviePlus X5 and Windows Movie Maker so that I can cut out everything but the important part and upload it. Both the movie editors import the files but will not let me move the file to timeline so that I can play and edit it.The PS version is 1.84 GB while the TS version is 1.4 GB. I can play them in VLC Media Player. A codec problem I think.

1190354 2011-03-30 05:54:00 I think Chill is uploading it anyway, he said he's copying it over from TiVo now. Siobhan Keogh (16063)
1190355 2011-03-30 06:22:00 Blast, only found out about this thread now. Was at work until 5.20 anyway.

Bobh, if you open the .ps and .ts files in VLC and click on codec information, what does it come back with? I might be able to transcode it for you.

1190356 2011-03-30 07:02:00 I have managed to open the recording in Windows Live Movie Maker. I am about to cut it down to the important part and will export it (heres hoping). I'll keep you informed. Bobh (5192)
