1190600 2011-03-30 20:26:00 The tendency is to look outside ourselves for the answer, where as I think the answer might be from the inside.

Sorry Richard, but we will do comics next week,ok?

So here's my contribution:

"Time is an illusion. Lunchtime doubly so."

:pf1mobmini:

Very good question there.

A moment in history could be several years as in World War 2.

A Moment is normally defined as a brief period of time and considering all the history we have accumulated to date the years between 1939 and 1945 occupy a relatively brief part.

A moment is half the time required to do a panic run to the loo after a feed of hot chilli?

A medieval unit of time equal to 1/40 hour or 1.5 minutes. This meaning has come down to us only as "a brief interval of time." The moment was divided into 12 ounces of 7.5 seconds each.

Also defined as: "A moment is exactly half the length of a piece of string."

As it happens I learnt that a moment was once 1.5 minutes.

I'll be back in half a mo'. :) Maybe.
