| 1219462 | 2011-07-27 02:15:00 | Wife works for a non profit organisation which doesn't have much spare cash. They have an accounting package that does not do invoicing (possibly changing next year to one that does). In the mean time she needs a small program that does invoicing straight out of the box preferably free. Thanks :thanks |

While it is not a full business accounting package it does invoicing etc. I set up a mates PC with it so he could do his invoicing and books with it. It is a double entry system which can be a little hard for some people to get their head around initially. I notice the invoicing package above in Trev's link is AU$50. |

| 1219468 | 2011-07-27 05:59:00 | Gnucash looks more like a cashbook that an invoicing programme. I put a few clients on to Instant Invoice a few years back but I see they want $99 USD for it now. I havent tried these, but here are a few links worth checking out. http://www.invoiceexpert.com/ Free up to 100 customers I think. And also shop.sage.co.uk Might be worth a look. They have a free package but requires registration etc I think. |

| 1219470 | 2011-07-27 09:18:00 | Gnucash looks more like a cashbook that an invoicing programme. It is an accounting program that does invoicing, so for what they are doing it may be all they need. |
