| 1218738 | 2011-07-24 06:38:00 | This one really starts to bug me. My internet connection seems to have a mind of its own and everyone now and then disappears. Telecom tested and said I have fine good broadband signal to the outlet. So even went out and bought a new wireless modem router(LINKSYS cisco wag 120). The annoying thing is I cant even get any internet connection by cable from the router to the main computer so even that has to run off a wireless usb modem stick in the main computer. | 1218742 | 2011-07-25 03:50:00 | Post the stats from the routers "ADSL Status" page. Also, the WAG120N is far from being a "solid" router itself. I'd still not rule out it being a router issue personally. |

| 1218744 | 2011-07-29 10:33:00 | Well we solved it and its simply than I thought. We've put a phone/ ADSL filter on the downstairs phone and its all fine now. It turns out the internet it cut off every time the downstairs phone was used but not the 2 phones upstairs. I cant believe we didnt put 2 n 2 together but with all 3 phones wireless and 2 ok it never became apparent. Bloody 2 years we've put up with it and such a simple fix! Thanks for everyones advice and for anyone else with intermittent internet put $10 Dick Smith filters on the phone outlet to separate data and voice. | jerrybali (9086) | ||
