| 1191296 | 2011-04-01 22:25:00 | Been playing this for the last couple of days using the wheel setup I built for gt5. In terms of 'simulation' feel it is definately nowhere near gt5 or even forza ( not that those are simulators compared to gtr/rfactor and the like anyways) and through the steering wheel the feedback is very poor giving you no real feel for how the car is behaving other than what you can see. having said that however it is very exciting and does give you the feel of barely controlled chaos, i.e. passing a pagani zonda at 140mph while power sliding around the outside of a corner in my race modded evo. As an arcade game then it seems pretty good and compared to other nfs titles it is definately more 'sim' but compared to even the mainstream 'light' sims it falls woefully short of any realistic pretensions. probably a 6/10 for me, maybe bumped to an 8/10 if someone comes up with a good set of steering wheel settings ( like they did for the first shift) to fix the disconnected feel. |
