| 1191201 | 2011-04-01 09:46:00 | I have a denon avr 1611 home theatre receiver and am wrapped to bits with it's power and performance, But have a question to ask to get some understanding. I have found that no matter what surround mode i switch it to i find that all the speakers go back to the setup mode of -3db on front speakers and -2 on centre speaker, I have a channel button on the remote which increases the speakers to +12db but when i switch between radio or dvd or sky the speakers drop back to -3db again. This is a handy feature to have and dont mind it on some movies but when you just want to just use the stereo with just the fronts for radio use i have to manually keep changing it back up with the channel button and there is no way to store it to stop it from going back down to -3db. Why would this be happening and is it a normal feature to have nowdays i have read the book over and over and cant find a solution but it would be nice not to have to change the level of the speakers all the time when changing between different inputs. |
