Gameplay wise ( certainly not setting wise ) I actually think the highpoint of NFS as an arcade title was Underground 2, despite the abominable 'boy racer' setting of it, the free roaming city with no cops was a revelation at the time and its city design is streets ahead of later NFS titles that still included the free roam element. |

| 1191304 | 2011-04-02 20:23:00 | having said that however it is very exciting and does give you the feel of barely controlled chaos, i.e. passing a pagani zonda at 140mph while power sliding around the outside of a corner in my race modded evo. Well thats a bit of a problem right there, an evo does not pass a zonda :cool: i guess the zonda could have been parked?? |

They are just games. :) Is it marketed as a sim? if so then it shouldn't include fantasy elements. Gmes they maybe but if they claim a certain level of realism then the bubble shouldn't burst within seconds of hitting the track. That aside, I have low expectations for titles in the NFS series, But having the game decide the car react will differently when the exact same conditions are repeated on a track is a new low. |
