1191211 2011-04-01 17:53:00 No, you'd be late.

11am becomes 10am - if you had an 11am appointment and turned up at 11am (your time - non-DST), you'd be an hour late.

1191212 2011-04-01 18:09:00 The autumn clock change is the worst because if you do not change your clock you will be an hour late. If you do not change your time in spring you will be an hour early.

We quite often have a few passengers who are an hour late and miss the bus because of the daylight saving change. I need to make sure that my clock is changed so that I am there on time over wise it could be hugely embarrassing for me.

I guess that they have the time change on a Sunday so that less people are affected.

1191213 2011-04-01 18:29:00 Goodness me yes, must remember to do the right thing at the right time.

I would hate it if I missed the bus.

1191214 2011-04-01 18:38:00 Nah, if you don't adjust your clocks now (autumn) you'll turn up an hour early.

Remember, the theme of this change is we get to sleep in an extra hour.

Then explain why my friend's mum was an hour late for something when we put the clocks forward back in whenever-it-was? :stare:

If you turn up at 9am DST, it's actually 8am.

1191216 2011-04-01 20:01:00 I liked it when I was on shift work and due to finish at 3:00 am.

Put clock forward at 2:00 am then it's 3:00 am. Go home as your shift has finished.

We still got paid for the full shift.

11am becomes 10am - if you had an 11am appointment and turned up at 11am (your time - non-DST), you'd be an hour late. You would be an hour early. If you didn't adjust the time by putting the clock back one hour, you would turn up at your time of 11am when it was actually now 10am.

Spring - goes forward one hour (spring = springs forward)
Autumn - goes back one hour (autumn = falls back)
