1193915 2011-04-13 05:16:00 I'd hazard a guess and say the Bombardier had been pushed out from the gate a little too far, assuming the 380 was tracking on taxi guides. No such thing as size has right of way, BTW. I remember landing my single engine 4 passenger at LAX, with no less than three 747's lined up holding waiting for me to land. I had priority. 1193917 2011-04-13 05:28:00 Yep ... they're getting info from the cockpit voice recorders to find out what instructions the tower gave them ... it'll be interesting to find out the cause.

As a side note ... I just dropped the wife out at the airport and got a very pleasant surprise when the 737 taxied in with a drop-dread gorgeous female pilot at the controls ... very nice :D

The Bombardier had just landed and was taxing to park.

Oops, I didn't know that. The plus side anyway is that no-one was injured.

And we'll just wait for the jokes with Gallic shrugs sneers and asides to start

Yeah, she can use all that idle time in the air between airports to do her hair and makeup.
Just gotta hope she doesn't zap her retinas mid-flight with the tanning light.
