But most pirates download things for personal use, not for reselling. Anyway, it's not about the artists (who get a small amount of the profits) it's about the greedy media corporations who get most of the profits. They are the ones kicking up the fuss because they are the ones who want to rip people off. All they are in it for is profit, profit and more profit. They couldn't care less about anything else, the potential benefits of piracy or the artists. They aren't just happy with a profit, it has to be bigger than last year (which is unsustainable anyway, nothing can keep growing and growing infinitely) |

How do we know you aren't lying and you do like Eminem? How can you really prove you haven't downloaded it? Will you show us all your media storage and show that the file is not there? You could have deleted it just now to trick us. No, you definitely downloaded it because we said so. |

I agree, but many would argue there needs to be some sort of a law around it, so rewriting it to be as unobtrusive as possible sounds like the best course of action. Thanks to Tizzard, it's *going* to happen sooner or later. |

He can't prove he didn't! Unless he logged all his Internet traffic 24/7 or something, and can provide recorded evidence showing he never downloaded it, but then we could just argue that the logs were faked or tampered with. No, he definitely download that Eminem song! |
