1194156 2011-04-25 11:09:00 right.

It's not going to be enforced easily in my opinion like many other laws the Govt invent. For the average person I don't think that the odd youtube video etc will attract unwanted attention.

There are also those who download ISO's as well but some are legal and some are not.

1194157 2011-04-25 12:03:00 that's true, im downloading ubuntu 10.10 to try out in a virtual machine.

surely there are those who do volumes and volumes of downloading,50,60 , 100 gig even(are there plans that large??), or more who they would target?

1194159 2011-04-25 12:23:00 I hate the OSX style interface.

If I wanted my Linux to look like OSX I'd buy a ****ing Mac.

How many ISO's of Ubuntu do you need? I get by with 10 Gigs per month. Usually less than that.

Ubuntu is free so therefore it's not illegal per se.

Also I do not know who will be targeted as I already have said.
Snorkbox (15764)
1194161 2011-04-25 12:29:00 I think they will target anyone who they suspect is downloading something they are interesting in protecting the copyright of.

So most likely it all depends on what you download, not how much you download.

For example, I doubt they will chase you up for downloading abandonware DOS games from 1985...
