1192999 2011-04-09 22:23:00 The US constitution is not worth the paper its written on . The Patriot Act effectively makes the most basic human rights null and void .

NZ has a far stronger system to protect our rights, a law based on British law .

It's 'Homeland Security' that's the real culprit .

It's most effectively Martial Law and the US Constitution is in abeyance right now but most believe the smoke and mirrors and think they are living under the Constitution and it's law .

Silly people want to believe the impossible while the carpet's pulled out from under them .

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain .

Ah .

He got the mandatory 'step-down' to working the jail for a while to watch him closely for any untoward reactions, late or PTS - but they passed on him and he's back out in the field, driving fast with a red light, gun and siren again .

The shooting was ruled good and warranted and he seems to be OK so far .

He now has a partner for life - the n00b cop whom he kept from dying from the knife attack that night . They are now in a two-man car .

Thanks for asking .

You may be right if the USA constitution can be overidden by another act .
Seems strange the yanks would have done that .
Dont want Englander gun laws here though they are too tough and stupid not that there is much hunting in poverty rock anyway . Come to think of when you see Coronation Street would you want those poms with guns in their hands?

Would make hunting more interesting with the prey firing back, no?

1193005 2011-04-12 02:07:00 It then would become a true sport instead of a walk with a bit of "whacking anything weaker than you" thrown in. R2x1 (4628)
1193006 2011-04-12 02:19:00 Yeah - I don't hunt any more ---- not that I didn't, but I only hunted for things I actually ate.

Now if an elk walked into my freezer by accident --------------------

1193007 2011-04-12 02:26:00 The right to bear arms is idiotic, it should be a privilege easily revoked at the slightest sign of antisocial behaviour. The type of people who think they should have the right to own a gun, especially a handgun, are very often the exact people who should NOT be allowed to own one.

The more people have guns the more people get shot.
