| 1221331 | 2011-08-07 02:03:00 | Just bought my daughter a Sony Vaio laptop which is running Win 7 Home premium . Fully updated now, and MSE installed and I have uninstalled the McAfee that came with it however . . . when I look at the Windows Firewall settings it says "These settings are being managed by the vendor application McAfee Personal Firewall' and I cant figure out why as everything I can see in 'Installed Programs' to do with McAfee has been uninstalled . Is this an issue, can this be changed to allow Windows to manage the firewall and if so how? cheers and thanks |
