| 1222233 | 2011-08-10 06:33:00 | I need to block facebook for a computer in the house . I am planning on setting up a mac address so only the router will allow network devices with the mac address stored on the router to access the network . Once this is setup for all the computers, how would I go about blocking facebook for only one/two computers in the house? I am currently able to block facebook for all the computers via the parental control option on the router . (D-LINK 624S is the router) . Can I do this with software on my computer? Prefer not to install software on other computers because it could be disabled by the user . Wifi enabled devices like ipod touch are needed to be blocked also . What is the best way to do this? TIA :D |

| 1222236 | 2011-08-10 10:56:00 | my netgear had that option but also an option for a machine to be whitelisted and not have any of the restrictions on it. Only needed the machine to have a static to enable, but it did work. |

| 1222240 | 2011-08-10 22:26:00 | Wifi enabled devices like ipod touch are needed to be blocked also. Thats where the problem will be. Blocking on the PC's there is several options (as already mentioned) but since it appears to be on multi devices, then either a white list on the router, or total blockage. |
