1194399 2011-04-14 03:50:00 Just wondering what the average time-frame is for making stuff...

I finally sent my first order on Tuesday, so far I have received no notification that anything has actually happened..

Their FAQ does say times can vary between 3 days and 3 weeks but updates or acknowledgment other than the initial automated email would be useful...

(This is of course ordering from their NZ branch in Wellington)

1194400 2011-04-14 03:54:00 I have not used them. Did you think about using a phone? Snorkbox (15764)
1194401 2011-04-14 04:25:00 Don't think there's much point in bothering them yet, as they say, it can take up to 3 weeks.

Just wondering if anyone has already got some sort of average time-frame known.

1194405 2011-04-15 00:55:00 60% now as of around 11 AM - "Materials ready to make" apparently.... Wonder if it won't actually get done today? Agent_24 (57)
1194406 2011-04-15 00:58:00 I got all ready to use them, got my designs uploaded, went to pay and baulked at the cost! It's freakn' horrendous. pine-o-cleen (2955)
1194407 2011-04-15 01:11:00 They aren't exactly cheap, but I don't think their automated pricing system is perfected either.

I managed to make my design double in price just by putting something in a different place (changed it back again smartly, of course!)

If you have a suspicion that the pricing is way out of order, just send them an email with your design and get them to manually quote prices.

1194408 2011-04-26 06:03:00 For anyone still following this, it's progressed to 80% as of around 2PM today. "Making in progress" is now crossed out - so I guess it just needs to be packed and sent off!

Edit: 7 minutes after posting it's now gone to "Order made, packed and shipped"

I wonder if the courier company will manage to get it here overnight?
