| 1194324 | 2011-04-14 10:54:00 | What he said ^^ By the way, IE10 sounds interesting.. sounds like Microsoft have finally realized that the only way to a better browser is to actually work on it... Not that I'm anticipating it with much excitement, I expect the UI to get worse... maybe they'll even decide to give it a ribbon :yuck: |

| 1194328 | 2011-04-14 22:52:00 | Having tried all the browsers recently for a week or so in each case (not IE10) I went back to FF4 as its the one that gives me the least amount of hassle as in none whereas I found all the others especially Chrome to be to minimal and therefore difficult to use. I have no idea what everyone else keeps accusing FF4 of as for me it works perfectly on XP, Win7 home pre and Win7 starter and I like it due to its ability to be customised to my liking | gary67 (56) | ||

| 1194330 | 2011-04-16 04:27:00 | *too minimimal*? What exactly are you missing? A separate search box for one. Can't think of anything else as I don't use it. I tried IE9, it's ok, fast enough but only 7 addons. I've used Firefox for years. Some releases better than others. I put FF4 on here last week & I think it's a great improvement on older versions. For some unknown reason the screen looks bigger. Probably it's the menu bar that's not showing + the tabs are on the top. Not all of the addons I use worked, but I found alternatives. So far so good, it hasn't spat the dummy. Stable & seems faster than 3.6, but at the end of the day, who cares about a couple of seconds difference to load a page |
