You can't really imagine Telecom going down the tubes.:illogical What a silly thing to say! Telecom have a virtual monopoly in supplying communications to the vast majority of homes and businesses in this country. All the telephone exchanges and cabling belong to Telecom. How can they go wrong? Their annual profit is $300m. The fine was $12m, one twenty-fifth of their profit. Most probably their pride is hurt more than their profit. If you earned $30,000, one twenty-fifth of your wage would be $1200. Obviously you would be annoyed at having to pay a $1200 fine but I'm certain that it would not send you down the tubes. When you put it in perspective, the fine is not that much, really. |

Fire the imported CEO raping the company to a tune of 7 million a year will be a great start. As above however that's not going to happen. |
