| 1222912 | 2011-08-13 03:34:00 | I have recently put a new harddrive into my macbook (this morning). Mac OS installs ok but when it reboots to the bit when your meant to put in your details and setup accounts it just freezes on the apple logo. I can get it to single user mode but it displays this message: .Loading for kernel cache file 'System\Library\Caches\com.apple.kernelcaches\kern elcache.BB12B6EE' Loading 'mach_kernel'... .................................................. . root device uuid is 'Cd34CFB1-C240-4D09-8A79-11426561353' Loading drivers... Loading System\Library\Extensions.mkext ........Read Error 0x80000007 any ideas? also i did a "verify and repair disk" with disk utility off the install dvd which said the volume passed. I then did a check on disk permissions but that failed. |

| 1222916 | 2011-08-13 07:56:00 | Ok upgrade install worked. But I experience massive lag when doing things within finder e.g right clicking, basic multitasking, removing things frmthe dock and opening zips/dmgs. Any ideas? |
