| 1194811 | 2011-04-15 08:53:00 | Just flashed 2.3 to my i9000 before sale. (stupid vodafone version unfortunately) I must say, 2.3 looks very sexy on the Super AMOLED screen!! First impressions are, samsung, How amazing!! first of all, not only does touchwiz look good on this but samsung, who usually cruise the slow lane with updates have pushed out a nice functioning up to date ROM (sort of since its not official via kies) Still, I love it!! incidentally how many of you are on 2.3, 2.2 or 2.1 (ugh 2.1 makes me shudder btw!!!!) Such a pity I got ripped when I bought this (and consequently I now have to sell it) I'm really liking 2.3. EDIT: A few new maybe noteworthy features Added support for WPS with wireless updated default samsung keyboard updated touchwiz UI (screenshots soon) thats all I have seen from now, looking good tho |

| 1194813 | 2011-04-15 09:20:00 | In the mean time I have figured out how buggy the screenshot ability is, its done on the i9000 by holding back and tapping the home button, this results in the phone returning to the home screen and taking a screenshot. the produced image is somewhere in between the transition to home and from where you were :p, fail :D |

| 1194814 | 2011-04-15 10:43:00 | That is fail. Well, I just finished the update process, I now have Android 2.2 - Update 1. Woo. All I can tell that's different is they added 'Forgot?' and 'Emergency Call' buttons to the unlock screen. |

| 1194815 | 2011-04-15 10:54:00 | before updating my phone Kies claimed that my firmware was not updateable... rubbish, 30 secs later it was flashed with odin!! Personally I hate kies. I have found it to be very slow and mostly useless. Guts about your update tho |
