1196585 2011-04-23 02:08:00 I recently tried to post on a forum (not this one) and the post was rejected because it contained the word "toner"

Any idea how the hell that is a banned word?

I was speaking in the context of using toner transfer for making etchant resist.

1196591 2011-04-23 03:19:00 Someone on that forum reckons it could be because it's not often used and when it is used it's usually by spammers.

Although it has been a long time (never) that I saw spam advertising toner.

1196592 2011-04-23 05:24:00 Maybe they thought it was an Apple Toner, that can be obscenely priced. R2x1 (4628)

Its probably that toner can be used to circumvent copyright. So now you've had your first warning!

2 more and your laser printer will be unplugged.
