1196349 2011-04-22 00:41:00 Seeing as it's bucketing down, I'm playing with food.
Bought chocs, proper ones, not hollow shells in expensive boxes.

Making Chelsea Buns from scratch, don't like those hot cross buns....

Son bought me expensive exotic food yesterday, blue cheese, posh condiments etc, so will make something fancy for tea as well. terrine perhaps....

1196352 2011-04-22 05:48:00 Easter bunny shoot commenced at 11am this morning according to Radio Live.

The Lions Club donates all of the takings to St. Johns for upgrading Ambulances, which is a good thing out of this messy exercise.

Lurking.

Ps. wifey gave us decorated stick-on plastic, boiled eggs and toast strips for lunch, forget what they are called.

lurks.

Overtook a jet on the way

1196354 2011-04-22 23:15:00 Funny, I thought e3aster was a religious festival to remember the Cruxification of Christ and celebrate his resurrection from the dead.

How come it got hijacked into a Chocolate Egg eating extravaganza?

I am prepared to bet that Muslims don't allow venal commercial interests to hijack their religious festivals.

1196355 2011-04-22 23:29:00 Easter eggs are special eggs that are often given to celebrate Easter or springtime. These eggs are often hidden, allegedly by the Easter Bunny, for children to find on Easter morning.

The egg is a pagan symbol of the rebirth of the Earth in celebrations of spring and was adopted by early Christians as a symbol of the resurrection of Jesus.

Find out more from here (en.wikipedia.org).
