Theres only three things that can ever go wrong with computer, so you'd think they wouldn't be hard to fix sometimes. :p

Two are fixable, the third - Questionable :illogical

1196107 2011-04-21 15:05:00 pretty much a day in the life of me

I usually only have my laptop (my main PC with all my important stuff on id :D) on hand so i'll be screwing around with .dll's and services when windows decides I've gone too far and won't boot. Running a live CD doesn't work so I install to the recovery partition but in my haste forget to change dev/sda 0 to sda 1

Loose all my files and loudly weep.

Wake up next morning and recover everything EXCEPT the files I need

Rejoice because windows works now, begin messing with services.

That would work in a number of cases.

But the user did not stuff it up. Ever. :)
