| 1224312 | 2011-08-19 23:15:00 | There is one thing to keep in mind as well, last year MS brought out some updates that really hit the performance of Windows XP, it has brought a lot of PC's to a crawl, slower performance. Generally if the PC is not to flash in power it is more noticeable. You would find that if a fresh install was done,(standard XP OEM CD) without using recovery CD's or partitions from the manufacture, with no updates it would really fly. Throw in a few programs, Comodo (will slow it down) as well as MSSE, Windows updates and you will notice the performance drop. |
