1196235 2011-04-22 03:03:00 Labour's vision for NZ is to create more long term unemployed.

Labours plan? Haven't seen any party at all come with a proper plan to make NZ into a country that makes products the rest of the world rushes to buy. Same old crap, sell off the assets, flog milk powder and sheep and fluff around with the remaining dollars. All of them.

Kate Wilkonson is a friend of mine, she says she will arrange a meeting with you, I told you had the answers.

1196237 2011-04-22 09:51:00 Labour is meant to be for the working man while National is for the business types.
It is funny that in the past there were always more man hours lost through strikes during a Labour administration as against National.

1196239 2011-04-22 10:50:00 I think this current government has shown that it probably makes very little difference which party gets in, in terms of whether it is national or labour flavoured, as their policies are very similar. Both will need to borrow heaps to continue with NZs unsustainable economy. Last week the gov borrowed 1 billion from overseas. How easy is that going to pay back. I think I will vote for NZ first, just to get winston peters back in, who gives the place some character. Not that I agree with all his policies, although I do agree with the gold card concept. Strange that it is the 3rd choice on the poll, even though they aren't actually represented anywhere in the house. robbyp (2751)

What we need to do is actually add value to those commodities we sell. Such as with milk power. Why sell cheap milk power, when you can add value and sell it as premium quality icecream. The problem is that low wage ecomonies then copy your ideas and products and undercut on price.
We do have a lot of timber in NZ, which 15 years ago was a huge earner.

1196241 2011-04-22 12:27:00 The only Poll that really counts will happen Nov 26th 2011 so I am told. Then it might take a while for the various parties to make a Govt. and make their deals. Snorkbox (15764)
1196242 2011-04-23 04:55:00 Just remember that politics is rather volatile, a lot can happen in 7 months. I just wish Labour would roll Goff. That would help the part tremendously. He is good at his job, just rubbish as a leader. Netsukeninja (13296)

Question being who will replace him? They don't have anyone.

The only one who could lead Labour to victory this election is Winston Peters, but that's not gonna happen. :(
