It is said that the boating industry was producing 200 million, since winning cup that industry is now producing 2 billion, so it is not all bad! So it is said. And if the claimed returns are as they so, then so be it. I wonder how much the plastic waka will benifit the boating industry.:stare: |

The Melbourne F1 Grand Prix in Aussie runs at a few million dollar loss every year but the injection of money into the local enonomy from the 200,000 plus visitors is tremendous and far outweighs not having the Grand Prix. :) |

They were the ones who sign the legal agreement to fund Team NZ for the AC and it would have cost the current Gov a legal bucket to try and get out of it.. |
