2011-04-24 10:49:00 | Actually I'd probably buy it over watercooling, just for the complete insanity. Then again the likelihood of me buying either is very remote...

2011-04-24 11:14:00 | That's probably a really good cooling system, but it just isn't the same as a 1.6kg heatsink with four 120mm fans.... it just isn't insane enough.... | Agent_24 (57) | |
2011-04-24 11:22:00 | Motherboard does less stuff these days, more and more functions are integrated into the CPU, all the motherboard really does is just connect everything together, as long as it does that, size doesn't matter. I guess I'm stuck in the days of ISA, and heatsink-less 386's... oh dear.

2011-04-24 12:16:00 | Actually an older 386 (or even 286) probably has even less than the new boards I've got one, even the CPU is on it's own little sub-board. Hard drive controller (Winchester, no IDE here!) is a separate card, same goes for sound, video.

2011-04-26 07:42:00 | That's why I reckon you need small steel suspension cables to put most of the load on the top of the case... | Agent_24 (57) | |
