| 1461382 | 2019-06-09 11:32:00 | Hi... Since I installed that Driver Max and had all the 476 infections I mentioned in an earlier post my computer has gone to the dogs. I just tried System Restore twice, first time back to the instal of Driver Max and as that failed I tied the restore point the day before and that failed. I am having troulble with opening .jpg and .png files in Photo app, they will not open. Also I tried to instal 2 Media Creation programs and was informed that W10v1903 will not allow them. They were DVDFAB 9 Pro and Ashampoo Burning Studio. DVDFAB 9 was not permitted and Ashampoo stated the files I wanted to load were invalid. Never had any of this in W7 Pro. Anyway, cut a long story short, as said since the Driver Max debacle and getting rid of all the crap from computer its still a dog. Games I had installed will not open and play (Sniper Elite 4) Edge browser is showing webpages too large and I cannot get it back to where it was before the Driver Max mayhem. When I installed W10v1903 Pro x64 and it was as sweet as a nut I created a backup of it using Aoemi Backerupper and I am seriously considering wiping out what I have now and using the back up to get back to when W10 was running smooth. Here are a couple of pics showing the Restore fails With that I am going to use this I have for now and use the backup tomorrow to hopefully get back some sanity. cheers |

| 1461383 | 2019-06-09 12:11:00 | Done...…...system is back as it was on 28th May. Edge is great again and I using it now. Sniper Elite 4 opens to play. Happy day. Now I go do some things and update my Comodo because its outa date. ciao |

Restores your system, including all crap, malware and bloat it had in it. Far better to make an image of your O/S (clean, fresh) and keep it for emergencies. Keep data on a separate partition to make life easier and do regular backups of that. |

Keep data on a separate partition to make life easier and do regular backups of that. piroska, I showed the restore points, the first attempt was to get it back to before I installed and used the Driver Max which is where the infections came from. The computer was clean before that. I got rid of the 476 infections. Anyway its restored to a backup when it was upgraded to v1903 and is crap-free now. cheers |
