1461138 2019-06-02 03:08:00 Hi there.

Notifications are working perfectly with a pop-up when not in full screen but they stop working when in full screen mode. Ideally I would like to get notification when in full screen mode in the action centre and not through a pop-up. If this is not possible I would like to get them through a pop-up when in full screen mode. I've tried numeruous setting combinations without any success.

Is somebody aware of a solution and if yes, what settings do I have to undertake for this? Many thanks for your help.

1461140 2019-06-02 05:59:00 Thank you Driftwood. I did all that previously with no success. I then got in touch with Microsoft twice: a) first person checked my settings, all good and then reinstalled an update, b) second person told me that in order to get full screen notifications I have to be in tablet mode (even though I have a laptop with no touch screen). Bottom line: it's still not working. Cyberhuskey (13067)

1461142 2019-06-03 10:41:00 I have found this article to be very useful for new features in Win 10 1903:

Thank you for your replies but unfortunately they didn't help. All my settings are correct but I don't get notifications in full screen, I get them only when not in full screen.

1461144 2019-06-06 10:02:00 Yes but that is the option that is default now in 1903, you can change it if you read the article.

Try Windows Key + A[/B]

Try turning off Focus Assist completely.

Yes, I've read the article and I did turn Focus Assist and all subcategories totally off. No success. Same result as described above. For various reasons I strongly believe there is a bug. Many thanks for your endeavours.

1461146 2019-06-10 08:12:00 You have rebooted after turning off Fast Start I suppose? zqwerty (97)
1461147 2019-06-10 08:58:00 No I haven't but I have not changed the settings back to its original setting, and rebooted and restarted the computer for a couple of times since. Cyberhuskey (13067)
