| 1461026 | 2019-05-28 10:48:00 | My friend just bought a new phone (Samsung A20). The guy in the Vodafone store set it all up, and he was invited to choose a number from a list, which he did. He now finds that he can make calls OK, but if anyone tries to call him they instantly get an "unavailable" message. He was demonstrating this to me, and sure enough I couldn't call him. However, when he called me the id showed up on my phone as some unknown person, but with the correct number. So the question is, WTF is happening? I suspect that the number he was assigned was being used by this unknown person and relinquished, and it was reassigned too quickly. Is that likely? Any other ideas? |
