1460953 2019-05-28 06:58:00 Hope I am not hijacking this thread, but I have a similar problem. Lenovo thinkpad. Has in the last 4 or 5 days just been losing connectivity to the internet, happens several times an hour. Ran "network diagnostics W10" It resets WiFi Adaptor tests it and comes up Default Gateway not available - fixed - and the connection to the router comes up ok (Vodofone rural wifi and all had been well up to now.

Any suggestions??

Cheers

Cheers Try what I posted in #5. Does similar to the network diagnostics but a little more deeper (I found anyway).

First sorry about the "bump" but it was a day later and the same problem. I am Rural Wireless BB and it appears the tower is getting a bit overload as they are not accepting new connection I am told. However I then lost everything (blue screen) Lenova sent me there Recovery system down load did not work, so they a picking up the computer Tues' they think the SSD is faulty (5 months old) not sure if that was affecting the Wi Fi or not. Lucky I have data on attached HDD and back up. Will see what happens. Thanks anyway Wainitech. :clap

Thanks anyway Wainitech. :clap Wouldn't worry to much about bumping, :) what some dont seem to relises is that many problems can be related. The failing SSD can be the source of the problems -- The Software that works the wireless is on the Drive so if its playing up so can the software. Sometimes ( happened more than once) someone here has been having a problem, and sometime later a customer has similar - thinking back on the forum -- hmmmm either same result or triggers something else to look at. :) wainuitech (129)
