| 1197658 | 2011-04-27 07:41:00 | Hi Guys, Noting the number of requests that have been posted of late that have required users to type in several 'arcane seeming' commands into a terminal in order to get basic diagnostic information, I've written a script so simplify this somewhat. There's now only two steps: Run the following command Paste the URL it gives you into a post on PressF1 wget -q -O - lintrace.erayd.net | bash - Thoughts? Any and all feedback would be appreciated, particularly suggestions that may simplify this for clueless users, or additional diagnostic information that may be useful. |

Which distro are you running? Thankfully that one's easily solved; adding another bash function to replace it will do the job. |

| 1197666 | 2011-04-27 08:10:00 | set -ae in the actual script is causing the script to just exist without doing anything (or doesn't appear to do anything). Replacing it with a set -a or just removing it altogether seems to make it run at least. | somebody (208) | ||
| 1197667 | 2011-04-27 08:12:00 | Still getting the same error. Did you save your changes? :pWell played... saved, but forgot to upload them to the server - this has now been rectified. | Erayd (23) | ||
