Yep . . . personally I don't see the point in using something "old and fail" when something newer and far better exists :p (but each to their own I guess)



I'm well aware of that; plus my high school only upgraded to XP a year after Vista came out .

some of us dont have the $$$$ to upgrade to newer . . . . better? at all, and some of us dont even want to, we are quite happy with what we have, why change what aint broke?

It was freshly reinstalled when I upgraded to a Core i3, and I can't be bothered upgrading it right now :p (I did upgrade my netbook, which also had 7 HP and the installation was less than a month old :p)

Maybe it's a project for the next university break...

You can do Vista Home Premium to 7 Professional (I think), but probably not with a volume licencing key - I couldn't even do Anytime Upgrade with it :p
