For the first time on here I agree with you. A presidential system with a PC appointed figurehead prez who will either be a woman or a non Caucasian for ever does not do it for me. If we are going to have a largely ceremonial post of prez might as well have one with some history like the Englander one. |

My view is that if the Monarchy gets pitched then the system that will replace same had better be as good or better.
