1197862 2011-04-28 09:48:00 Nope. I don't like such gimmickry and even if I did it's not supported under linux.

Hardly gimmicky - it gives a nice balance between performance and battery life under Windows 7 :D

1197863 2011-04-28 10:25:00 I use a external mouse on my netbook. Much easier than the touchpad. QW. (15883)
1197864 2011-04-28 11:21:00 I love the HDMI on my laptop, just plug it into the TV and I can watch what I like :) davidmmac (4619)

It's open-source as well, isn't it?

1197866 2011-04-28 21:33:00 '08 15" MacBook Pro. 4 gig ram. 3G XT Stick 24/7. The multitouch trackpad is far better than any mouse for me and I don't need an external keyboard or screen.
Firewire backup to portable drive and external speakers.
Syncs two iPads and an iPod.

1197867 2011-04-29 06:02:00 A decent sized screen that doesn't reflect & a mouse. Otherwise I don't care, it's a laptop, it's portable Phil B (648)
1197868 2011-04-29 12:08:00 Speed and size. I am currently lugging my 15.6" around Kuala Lumpur with a change of clothing in the laptop bag -no problem. nerd89 (14761)

meh, I get on very well with the oldboy, He had his laptop stolen, Then asked me what he could get that was extremely light and uber powerful as a replacement.

Price wasn't a major consideration, and he is stoked with his purchase.
