| 1197120 | 2011-04-26 03:05:00 | Hence why I said: I've not had an iPhone for over a year, so things may have changed in the new iOS versions. Its also worth noting that even Andriod 1.5 had multitasking, and things like 3G Watchdog work even on 1.5: market.android.com |

None of the work is very hard at all, although I do all my friends stuff for free because I'm such a nice person :lol: |

| 1197124 | 2011-04-26 04:52:00 | My iPhone costs $40 p/mth for 30mins anytime, 300 texts, 3GB data and 1000 pix....!cheap really! | SolMiester (139) | ||
| 1197125 | 2011-04-26 11:10:00 | Thanks everybody, I've learned a lot, and very quickly. My general impression is that smart phones are not expensive to use provided that use is light. I would find that useful provided I didn't get caught up browsing and posting on forums. :clap The keyboards aren't userfriendly for typing anyway. Apparently its free to use Facebook on some plans? Anything else? |

| 1197127 | 2011-04-26 12:59:00 | Thanks everybody, I've learned a lot, and very quickly . My general impression is that smart phones are not expensive to use provided that use is light . I would find that useful provided I didn't get caught up browsing and posting on forums . :clap The keyboards aren't userfriendly for typing anyway . Apparently its free to use Facebook on some plans? Anything else? Only one special part of the site 0 . facebook . com and only with telecom XT It has not pictures either, text only . Mild correction (I guess) they are only more expensive that your current setup if you start doing more of something than normal . The most expensive part is data and I never actually use much of that anyway . Some keyboards are nicer than others too . Try them, its what you'll be using . I think most people who have used swype will agree its epicly awesome and will change the face of text input for smartphones forever :D |

| 1197128 | 2011-04-26 21:20:00 | What on earth are you on about bk T? Why is using a "Wifi" phone expensive? Using a smartphone on WiFi doesn't cost you anything beyond the cost of the internet connection you're connecting to. Also, why shoud "average wage earners" be able to afford them - they're a luxury, not a basic need like food or shelter. If you expect the govt to step in, then you'd also expect them to make diamond rings affordable to the "average wage earner"... If some other major cities in America and Asia are having FREE wifi (or working towards that direction) I don't see why are we limiting our access to the wifi Internet to those top wage earners? If you wish to keep this access as a 'luxury', and wifi = diamond rings, well, I've nothing more to say. |

Someone has to pay for the "free" WiFi - if not the punters, then sponsors who will try to recoup via advertising, or rates/taxes - which most people pay. |
