1225590 2011-08-24 08:33:00 Hi,Drivers were downloaded from the PCWorld disk,Ver 11.6 donandjuliesherrock (16511)
1225591 2011-08-24 08:42:00 I would uninstall them and get the drivers from the ATI site (support.amd.com)

Make sure you get the right drivers (32 or 64 bit). Depending on the version of Win7 you're using

When you upgraded from Vista to Win7, did you do a clean install, or did you do an upgrade / install over Vista?

1225592 2011-08-24 09:56:00 Because of the increased play time by dropping the settings down im going to say that the psu is no longer providing the wattage that the gfx card needs. It could also be the gfx card not managing power properly, i suggest you continue to do what speedy is instructing :2cents: icow (15313)
1225593 2011-08-24 22:43:00 The PSU could well be the issue, but the graphics card could also be overheating. See if the driver software reports it's temperature. You could also try furmark, it will stress test the graphics and graph the temps at the same time, given what you say it will probably crash the system though.

Thermaltake power supplies are usually ok, the cheaper ones are not fantastic but they aren't as bad as the real el-cheapo's and I didn't think a 4600 was all that demanding. I have one friend running a HD4850 on an AcBel 450W PSU and another running a 9600GT on the same PSU. I wouldn't do it myself but when moneys tight it can work.
