Frankly, I consider it an appalling waste of money given that no other country speaks Maori at all, so having learnt it, you will only be able to communicate with the few others who have learnt it also. I’d wager there are more people through the world that are conversant with Sign Language than there are with the Maori Language. The whole proposition is a total and utter waste of money.	B.M. (505)

And against that the estimated number of Maori beneficiaries. Somehow I suspect the per capita payout to the Maoris on the receiving end of this involuntary taxpayer largess would cause a national outcry. End of the day, the average Joe Blogs down the road probably doesn't care, and probably won't see a cent of that money. Its the greedy bastards at the top - would someone rid this country of their rubbish once and for all please!
